Gerard Pique injured.

At the beginning of the Champions League match against Spartak Moscow, after the unfortunate intervention, defender of Barcelona - Gerard Pique  has been injured. After the initial means for the club doctors he returned to the field, but a few minutes later in his place on the pitch  appeared Alex Song, bacause graduate of Barca was unable to continue this meeting.

After extensive medical research, which Pique had after the game, it turned out that Piqué suffered a sprain in the left foot and waiting for him  a 2-3 week break in football. This injury also puts a question mark over his performance in the match against Real Madrid at the beginning of October. It is also not good news for Tito Vilanova, which has one nominal central defender - Marc Bartra.

For now in Barcelona list of injured players grow up. Injured is: Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Carles Puyol, Andres Iniesta, Marc Muniesa, Isaac Cuenca and still Eric Abidal.

In the first match in Champions League FC Barcelona won against Spartak Moscow 3-2.
