Las Fallas

Las Fallas (15 - 19 March), the Feast of Fire, the most popular holiday region of Valencia. Falla is a fire, a celebration of spring and symbolizes the farewell greeting of all that old. On the night of 15 March in Valencia are set across the huge, grotesque, referring ironically to the surrounding reality, made of cardboard sculptures. On the night of St. Joseph (from 19 to 20 March) is the culmination of the feast, crema, a moment in which all the fantastic sculptures glow performances, full of lights, music and fireworks.
